The enclosure accommodates M.2 2230, 2242, 2260 and 2280 SSDs. Compatible drives use PCIe NVMe with an M-Key or B+M Key connector, giving you four supported module lengths for your external-storage build.

Confirm that the drive is NVMe before installation. A B+M Key connector by itself does not identify the drive protocol; M.2 SATA SSDs are not supported by this model.

Bring Your Files onto a 10Gbps USB Connection

Use the USB-C connection to access files on your selected SSD from a compatible computer. The USB 3.2 interface is rated up to 10Gbps for external-storage tasks such as moving project folders, keeping media accessible or updating backups.

A host port and cable supporting 10Gbps data transfer are needed to use the full USB interface capability.
